What's your worst injury from working on a car?

I'm sure we got some good ones on here.

Heard a real winner today:

"Friend of mine was setting the timing on a chevy with an HEI dist. it was hot out and he was wearing shorts , leaning over the fender & turning the dist. He got zapped by a plug wire but it shot thru his body and out the head of his dick onto the fender "

Then there's this poor guy who got his fingers sucked into the compressor inlet on his supercharger and found them later on in the intercooler end tank:

Then nonchalantly gets right back to work. Damn.

Oh fingers in supercharger blade looks gnarly, I have no idea how or why his fingers were that close for that to even happen?

Worst i've done is got a few 3rd degree exhaust burns on my arms, sliced a few fingers open, and dropped a T-5 trans on my shoulder when my ghetto rig trans jack failed  (stupid kid)

Too be honest, I've been so overly cautious with anything to do with the car, that I've had more severe and even just more injuries working on computers.

My pride...for sure.;)

I was helping my friend tune his KA24DE Turbo s14.

The o2 reading were all over the place, so my first thought was a leak at the manifold. turns out he didn't put the o2 sensor in all the way, and it had rattled out.

I decided it would be a good idea to put it back in while the engine was hot. Needless to say I got a nasty burn on my arm, and still have the scar 7 years later.

My wallet has been killed a couple of times...but that was because other people were
dong the work.

I've had plenty of burns and minor cuts but nothing like losing a finger. If you don't cut your knuckles at least once while tinkering you aren't working hard enough hahaha.

Same here, I've only had minor scratches, bruises, pinches, and even a small burn or two. The exhaustion when you have to work into the night and the pain the next day sucks though lol. Thankfully I haven't had any other injuries.

And then I open my computer case and simply try to pop out one of the covers for a CD drive slot and slice my finger open and bleed profusely lol. It's scarred now.
