I feel sorry for that investment. Welcome to torque steer hell.

Now I've been pondering on how i am gonna fit a 4g63 in the fit with AWD.

doctordoom 08-24-2007 07:01 PM

that's pretty cool. the car looks so beat up and gross it could have fooled me.

greekdaddy000 09-30-2007 06:53 PM

i really cannot stand cars that sound like trucks

GSRswapandslow 09-30-2007 07:01 PM

that's honestly...a stupid idea. considering how much more advanced the B, k, and h series are..... hell, i'd rather have a D or an F in a civic than an SRT4 engine... D's and F's are fast catching up with the rest of the series..wtih some stock sleeve d's in the 10's now

I disagree, D series motors are scrap/back up motor. They suck. Not many companies support the d series like they used to. B series are becoming what d series are. Now that K motors are getting cheaper. I will be scraping out my GSR'ed EG in a year in favor of a K20/K24 Frankenstein.

As far as a SRT-4 motor in a civic, I would LOVE that. It's already fast stock in a heavy neon, just imagine that shit in a 2000 lb car.

i disagree about the D series comment, they used to be really popular untill people went with B and K series, but now for some reason they are catching on again and people are making huge numbers with them.

Say Wha?? SRT-4 Swap?

Dang! This is my first time hearing about it. That is an insane idea. Pretty cool experiment to fool around with. I must admit, the SRT-4 engine is competitive; I guess is not my style. I myself got a D16Z6 engine on my 92 hatch, I have been able to keep up with B18s, but not fast enough to lave in the dust. I agree, the future of Sport Compact Cars will be the new generation on engines such as the K20…for all I know I can swap my Fit engine with a K20 and be very competitive.

Disgusting.

This is like the automotive equivalent of doing it with your sister.

Honda makes such a fine engine, why slap this in there? i don't care how fast it is; an unrefined 2.4 litre four SHOULD be quick when turboed, theres no engineering in that!

What a waste...and shame.

FIT-SO 10-18-2007 04:45 PM

^^^^^ what he said.

eldaino 10-18-2007 10:42 PM

see? its not just me! I remember seeing a japanese video, it was like the japanese version of top gear or something, and it was a 3 series coupe with an s2k f series swap. Interesting? I guess, but i was still against it, despite the greatness of that engine. Its not a limited to 'ruining honda's' kinda thing.

Disgusting.....I just barfed! Why...dunno. DUMB.
