Honda Pilot ok in sand?

I'm thinking about buying a Pilot but need to be able to drive it on
the beach. The dealer says that shouldn't be a problem, but does
anyone have any actual experience? Thanks for the help.

How's the sand on your beach? I've been to beachs where the sand is
so well packed down it is like riding on a road. If your beach has really
fine sand, then most cars can get stuck under the right conditions.

My cousin ran his truck over the sandy beaches in Hawaii for a
day and wrecked something, maybe brake rotors. He mentioned, "it
[the truck] was toasted."
