First Tater'd New Camaro

First Tater'd New Camaro
Let me start off with an explanation:
For several years now the term 'rice' and it's many derivatives thereof refer to the act of making an imported vehicle take on modifications the majority of the public would consider in 'bad taste'.
It even has it's own Wiki entry! Rice burner - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Since 'rice' references a traditional stereotypical food staple of most of Asia, I believe one would have the need to pick a white, starchy food product prevalent in North America, especially the southern/south-eastern region of the United States, since that region is most identified with the stereotypical 'redneck' mentality.
So I am going to pick the potato as the bland, southern, back-woods, starch of choice. Going one step further, we tend to find the basterdization of the word potato to be 'tater' (ie, "I like me sum of dem dare mash'd taters!"). It actually complements the various 'rice' derivatives nicely.
So here are my versions and uses of 'tater'.
- That there Camaro has been tater'd out.
- He/she/it is a tater wannabe.
- Dude, you put deer whistles on your front bumper, you are such a tater!
And now, here is my presentation of the first tater'd 2010 Camaro. This was taken from a new Camaro message board. The car was spotted in Houston, TX, at the Norman Frede Chevrolet dealership.

According the owner the rims were standard offset (forgot to ask rim width) and the car was lowered about an inch all around, 24 inch on the rear should also fit with a lower profile according to him...
And yes the Z28 badges are FAKE.

I can dig this thread, but I think the starch should be more uniquely American- how about Wonder Bread? It doesn't roll off the tongue like "tater", but I'll try it: "Hey, look at that Wonder-Breaded Cobalt!" Oh, never mind.
