finally painted the interior. i went with a gunmetal grey instead of the night hawk black pearl because the gunmetal was cheap and it looked good haha.

 

isnt like showy paint/looks will matter much if it's strictly track/fun anyways :)

 

yea exactly. it looks alot better in person than it does in pictures too but it doesnt need to be super nice when the car is going to get beat to shit.

 

got the master cylinder in and took out the intake manifold.....=D


figured out where im going to mount the innovative hydro conversion unit.


powdercoated the seat brackets, pedals are in, template for the dash is fitted up and just laying out the wiring. plan ahead kids!


all the rivets are back in the fenders. shits hard work!

i vote for the elise if you can fit inside. i tried and im too tall

 

yea, im just under 6'2 and its pretty hard to get into but once im in, its okay. when the rex and the fit are done, i am going to save up and see whats out there. hopefully i can find a car for super cheap with a dead engine so i can do something insane to it. i just know i want a MR as my next car no matter what.

you should have bought a rivet gun to make that work so much easier.

but still, that was about 80 rivets and each one take about four pumps and the last two pumps you need to use some muscle to pop it off.

 

no an air rivet gun would have been better

 

haha well then! i wish i had one of those but i gotta just use what i got.
