Chicago IL -> Denver CO-> Pleasanton CA
Folks I will be travelling almost cross country next week in my 2010 fit s.
Looking for advice on few things:
- how comfortable seats are? the longest I drove this car was 1h in very sprinted mode so can't really say how good the seats are for long trips (5h+)
- on mountain passes around CO and later CA what's the chance I need chains when on the top etc? have no idea how it all looks at the moment
- general word of advice (I used to do lots of long trips 10h+ for last five years mostly in Europe and Midwest to East coast/South etc but never close to 3d trip; )
thanks in advance

you're not going that high through denver, i dont think.. you shouldnt need chains.
ive driven through there several times and never needed chains. for some reason if you encounter snow in denver, go south through albequerque (sp?)
goodluck and drive safe. :)

i went i70 all the way across. shouldnt need chains at all. seats were fine for me. Our last stretch was from tucumcari, new mexico to manchester, ct all at once, close to 48 hours straight, and i had no complaints with the seats. Only hard part was trying to sleep in them while the other was driving.
