I like to cruise at the speed limit in the slow lane..

On nice days like today when there are a bunch of people on the road and I am not in any particular hurry I like to cruise in the right hand lane at the speed limit or matching the flow of traffic with a several car length buffer in front and behind me.

More and more often there are some self righteous assholes who take it upon themselves to set up rolling roadblocks and more often than not it seems like they use my responsible driving to help set it up.

Recently I and a few friends have developed a method for getting back at these guys for ruining my cruise and holding up others who may actually have places to be. Perhaps an individual may be speeding because they have to get to the hospital for fucks sake.

So now the trolling become the trolled, *ahem* I give you this:

The signs say slow traffic keep right for a reason. You are not a cop, go fuck yourself. Pacing me is making the drive more dangerous for both of us because you have removed my escape route in the event something goes awry.

DSM this is AWESOME!

You know they say 30 percent of people dont know how to drive and they are on the interstates. I am surprised there is not more accidents. They like staying in the blind spots too.

Bravo! I've noticed this same phenomenon. A few times, I've backed off just enough to let those being jammed to get through. I like your idea better.

"the trolling become the trolled"... hell ya!

9/10 times these days on the highway I've noticed traffic gets backed up because some idiot is driving slow in the left lane. 1/10 is cause of an accident...

Basically have to leap frog each chunk of traffic that is led by idiots holding up the rest of traffic behind them to get anywhere.

LOL

Where's your "buy me a beer" donation button? :)

Thanks for the laugh and keep up the good work on the roads.

HAHA...

I would love to do what you do DSM... except they always put me BEHIND the rolling roadblock. Once I finally get through, I'm too pissed off to stay near them.

Indeed - was taking a slow drive today, not feeling in a hurry, at the speed limit on cruise, and I slowly passed on the right lane, a stupid jeep that was holding up traffic on the left lane. Didn't bother toying with the idiot, but everyone was trying to pass on the right behind me but since I wasn't in a hurry, I didn't rush passing said idiot, so a line started forming behind me. Not so happy having a line of cars tailing behind me, or having them blow by idiot on the right and then swerve back into the left lane in front of the idiot, just behind me.

You get the idea. Maybe I should have toyed with him cause there's no way he's got the speed to pass me so I could toyed all day if I wanted to. But I was not in the mood or I would have been driving a bit faster to begin with.

Good one DSM. Now, about that DIY "ticker tape" center brake light that flashes this sign... slow traffic keep right - Yeah YOU! :-)
