Auto Transmission in '97 Civic sticks between Park and Reverse
 

This happens when I take my Civic out of park. Between park and reverse it sticks, almost like I've put it neutral. I have give it a little more force to get it moving again. This started about a month ago.

Is that a symptom of transmission slipping? Or something else? It doesn't do anything else weird. It stays in gear just fine once I can get it to drive.

i have the same issue with my 1996 civic, that it hard shifts between park and reverse
i see u got no responses, thats unfortunate
im just curious if u ever found out what it was and can let me know
id really appreciate it

Maybe if you posted in a CIVIC forum you might get some answers this is a FIT forum.
