This is the rear torn down for routing repairs and clean up.
We were busy yesterday ha ha, now to find a battery that fits in a LWH 10"x5"x6" space.

This is my 1st try at tinting, it was fun

J Rolled stopped by tonight and rolled all 4 fenders w/a Eastwood roller. The West Wings body kit hampered the roll a little in the rear but he was able to roll the fenders so there will be no more rubbing issues. :D
Pix coming

tails tinted & a little of this & that...

Went junk'n today and bought a few odds and ends. Pulled a wind shield wiper motor from a CRX and cleaned it up to install where the original is at now. Found a pull handle from another Honda and cleaned it up and dyed it black. Got the missing speedo cable, 2 under the hood fuse boxes just for the fuses. Blew one 60A when we were working on the ICE and that 60 amp fuse was expensive, now we have 3 of everything :D).
Bought this gloss black tint off ebay and after watching a 7 min. u-tube video took the older looking lights and did this to them, looks even better than the pic. Replaced the key switch last night; again 12 min. video of a 1992 civic switch change out and off to the garage. There where a few differences from 90 to 92 but it all came together and is working fine. All and at there is more things that need to be done but we are catching up and hopefully "Lil Red" will make some shows this season, I'm try'n Cat :x] And if not I'm have'n a Great Time!

Note:
Don't pull the W/S/W motor apart! the 3 brushes are a PIA to get back in place!

cuttin up

Installed a polished S.S. surround to the cluster after cutting it open with a dremel tool. Cleaned and polished out the plexiglass and this mod works really well with the Sparco steering wheel.

Well Happy Father's Day to all Dads everywhere! time for this 1 to hit sack zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Good progress Mike, would love to see it finished. I'd ask you what your plans are but I figure you'd much rather get your hands dirty and show us. :)

Hoold on there Bobbalou!

holy cow have ya ever noticed how 1 thing leads to another then another and b4 ya know it ya gotta put the brakes on.
So speaking of brakes that's where the twisted path of Lil Red has taken me this week. Man all I wanted to do was detail the wheel wells and clean the wheels put everything together and get it off the jack stands and on the ground. Got to the point of the rear tire on and I was feeln the good life. Then I spun the tire and the brakes needed to be adjusted, ok. Took the drum off and spun the hub & hot dang the ding dang bearings in the hubs where bad! So ok, Rock Auto and 10 mins. later new hubs and drums, shoes, hardware kit, and dust covers..... Rock always treats me great on price. So on the way here around Monday or Tuesday. Well when I was cleaning the new front sway bar tonight, the backing plates looked like ----- u can fill the blanks lol. so I just finished the cleaning & painting them (pix to follow).

Dash

Man, God is good!
The cluster cover that came with Lil Red was kinda butched up from something that happened involving the ignition switch. So last night I email a feller that has a mint cover and a 18mm front sway bar! for less than a tank of gas in the Fit!! And it is recycled right into our Civvy now. TY Lord :)

Spiffy clean job Mike.

Keep the Sparco yoke, I think it looks like a good fit with the stripped-down interior feel of the EF.

Dropped the header and removed the oil pan for a replacement.
Over all the bottom end look like new. This evidently is not a 40-50k JDM import motor. The gentleman I purchased the car from said it was a new crate engine from Japan. It's clean under the oil pan. The old oil pan was hit and creased the crap out of the pan, so it's outta here. The only markings I noticed was a row of B's stamped in the block where the oil pan goes? It's a slow week in the old garage. The rear brakes, hubs, dust covers and a few other bits and pieces came in this week.
