^If that's true, and it comes to the US in it's original form, I may seriously consider buying one.
I would assume they'd use a small turbo to keep the fast revving peaky Honda characteristic. As long as it doesn't feel too much like a Subaru i'm interested, but if that's not the case i'm out.

I paused that vid several times, it must have the rear handles hidden in the pillars then?
Well 4 or 2 door.. if it stays close to that size with those specs, I want that as my DD.

Yes hidden.

Just another great option for an engine swap into older hondas.
Or my Fit.
Honda had such a CLOSE car for beating the target 8 minutes 10 years ago. All they needed was the EP3 stuffed with a K24 that breathed good out the topend, matched with better suspension. The new CTR is heavier by quite a bit.

Similar belief VW had with selling the Scirocco here that it would eat into the GTI sales however, they sell them side by side in Europe. Same with this Civic sold with the Fit.
If you don't mind the slightly strange looking front and back ends lol

If that happens, I'm putting my deposit down right now! I miss being in an Integra, had 2 of them.
I doubt this variation will even see the US, but making it an Acura... Honda could push it here. As long as it doesn't have the Acura beak ----
Man, I would seriously consider a Type R. It's sad that they probably won't bring it here or even the Civic hatch. Every car I have ever owned has been a hatch (CRX, Integra, EP3, and FIT). If the current Civic was a hatch I would have bought it instead of the FIT.
