I think this was a Supra? This one was sitting out from of the Cincinnati U-Pull Parts facility with no tags on it?
If you want one, maybe give them a call and chat about it?

I would like to have that Mk1 GTi! :)

I like these two seems reasonably priced.

This 1973 BMW 3.0CS (chassis 2212984) is a Euro example that was purchased by the seller after sitting as an unfinished restoration project. The car has a 4-speed and a sunroof and came from the factory in silver with a blue cloth interior. The interior is in amazing condition including the finish on the wood trim and the dash. The seller has corresponded with the owner who purchased the car in 1982, who says it had rockers and other metal work performed in the early 1990s. The car was never finished and was parked a few years later until recently. The current seller has rebuilt the fuel and brake systems and has the car running reliably. It is now available in River Forest, Illinois for $14,500.

This 1956 VW Beetle is said to be an all-original example that has always been in the seller’s family. Black over oxblood is a nice combo, and compliments the early oval window body style well. It’s said to run and drive great, and retains the original 6V electrical system. The original purchase order and paperwork is included, too, and the car’s said to be rust-free. Find it here on The Samba’s classifieds in Corona, California for $11,900 OBO.

Callaway Turbo: 1983 VW Rabbit GTI

This 1983 Rabbit GTI received a Callaway stage 2 turbo upgrade when nearly new, and is said to have been maintained well and garaged since. It comes with a stack of records and an inop parts car. In the past few years it’s said to have received a new head gasket, rebuilt turbo, fuel pump, injectors, alternator, radiator, timing belt, and much more. The interior looks good and sports an uncracked dash, while the exterior still wears original paint indecent shape. Find it here on The Samba’s classifieds in Phoenix, Arizona for$5,200

Real cool cars and yep I'm always thinking about older cars :)

My dad just turned 84 the other day and while he likes a few of the new cars
he still talks about a 1954 Mercury he had while in the Army.

I'll be turning the big five oh soon and like my dad I like new cars and all but still feel more connected to the old cars I had.

Very nostalgic... Still dreaming, its cheaper... :-)

I dream too, then I come to my senses realizing the maintenance, storage and limited time of use. Around here rust is the main issue I have heard of people storing their classic cars in air tight bubbles.

And with dehumidifiers even. Or you can leave/park it in Death Valley, Vegas or Phoenix areas (indoors of course).
