Has 240 bhp

Nissan is previewing a high-performance version of the Sentra with the introduction of a Nismo-flavored concept at the Los Angeles Autohttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/icon1.png Show.
At the beginning of the year we heard from a Nismo representative that a lineup expansion is planned. This week Nissan and Nismo have unveiled their most important model yet, the GT-R, together with a beefier version of the Juke Nismo that has received the "RS" suffix. The duo is also showcasing at the L.A. show a more powerful version of the Sentrahttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/icon1.png which packs a race-inspired exterior and a NISMO-tuned suspension.
Motivation is provided by a 4-cylinder, 1.8-liter direct-injection turbo gasoline engine generating more than 240 bhp (179 kW) and 240 lb-ft (325 Nm) of torque delivered to the front axle through a six-speed manual gearbox and a limited-slip differential. The vehicle has been equipped with 19-inch RAYS alloys shod in Michelin Super Sport performance tires measuring 225/35 R19.
Nissan has taken the red Brembo brake calipers and the rear diffuser from the 370Z and on the inside they have installed Recaro Sportster front seats wrapped in black leather with Alcantara appointments. There's also a NISMO steering wheel covered in leather and Alcantara, a matching shift knob and a satin carbon finish for the instrument cluster.

that's pretty cool... but 240lbs of torque to the front wheels is like MS3 mega torque steer, no?

I would think so that use to be a major complaint on the old Maxima.

so this is just for magazine spec racers to get all excited... figures.

The Focus ST had some modification to address the torque steer but I saw it is still a problem. With this car it seems to be up to the ST level and much higher then the SI.

It will be interesting if they actually sell it, what next the NISMO Note?

lol...yah, notes come in 6MT? if so, that could really become reality. :D
