TV's Wheeler Dealers - 1977 Honda Civic CVCC 5-Speed
 

I caught a recent episode of TV's Wheeler Dealers on the Velocity Channel that was devoted to the restoration of a 1977 Honda Civic CVCC 5-Speed in California. They did a good technical explanation of how the CVCC engine worked its magic of low emissions in a time when most other cars were fitted with early-era catalytic converters.

I cringed when they cut the dash in order to fit extra gauges, but that's TV.

Anyway, those of us who owned Hondas in that era and Honda historians will find interest in the episode.
