These will go at the very bottom of the grill. There are 2 plastic inserts there and the driving lights will fit right in. |

Ben was kind enough to give me a rear wiper arm and motor, so clean, prime, and paint.[/I] https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fit...58e084b72f.jpg Yeah that's a wiper arm there, I cut and install the blades myself. I figured that with all the cars in our family this was a win win .I get refills at 28" for .60 a piece and at 2.00 to 17.00 for the assembly, what a savings. |
I used a longer flexblade wiper on the rear. I also installed a delayed rear wiper feature, so that it's not constantly wiping at its single speed (IIRC).
I briefly looked into, but didn't find much info, for a variable wiper stalk from the same Era Honda vehicle (like the Accord wagon, or Civic hatch). Not sure if it's been done yet. |

Bake at 200 degrees or until golden brown
https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fit...83fa4f2ca6.jpg
Bake at 200 degrees for 30 min. to loose glue. Then be careful with a med. flat blade screwdriver gently pry catches out of the backing. There is 1 #1 Phillips screwdriver to remove where the side reflector is. https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fit...96748fcbee.jpg After cleaning mask it off and I used bright silver metallic. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fit...c87da385f3.jpg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fit...bd90bf036e.jpg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fit...c4c57cd255.jpg I am using a black sealing mastic strip to seal it back up.<br/>Reheat @ 200 put just the housing in and when the seal is soft replace the lens and snap it back into the housing ,.... Carefully. |

Driving lights: Test fit
So if ur not scard to take a 2" hole saw to your perfectly good front bumper, then here we go.....!
https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fit...d3b89f2408.jpg Here they are fresh out of the box. Collar is a little bit bigger than 2" . Which works out to the good as that way I could get a tight fit. There is a square cob in the light and I could not look at it when powered up. And the ring is bright white. https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fit...9496d047b3.jpg Measured and made a mark center and a little bit high as I want room in-between to clean the dirt out when detailing. BTJM. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fit...cbb4519aff.jpg Not the best shot of them but this is the test fit. Me likey! The ring picks up the yellow of the paint. Which I wasn't expecting, but like. |
We had another close call with a tornado again today. I've been in the area for 57 + years and have only heard of a few in the area but this week we have had 5 touch down and tear up buildings and trees?!!
