Memorial Day 2017!

Washed, buffed, sealed and then carbuna waxed.
Looks and feels like new paint!

30 minute make over with a little Frankenstein thrown in.

This is a dear friend of mine and needed a little help from a close encounter this past winter.
I was just to change the oil and filter. And flipped when she saw the bumper, and that made my day! :^)

2/3 of an evaporator 1/3 debri! That's why we have cabin filters :-)

So it's been mid 90's this weekend. I bought a set of 134a gauges from harbor freight, 50.00!
As the charge was a little low I added a little and the high side went up to 275 psi but the low side didn't move over 30/35 psi? First thing in my mind was txv! Bummer.
So like any car afficiatoe, went straight to the net.
Read a couple of articles/threads on the debris that collect in the coil box in these older cars, so had to look and this what I found:

After:

So not a huge, like new, change but it definitely cooled down more. So heading in the right direction.
Going to check with gauges this week, but I'm pretty sure it's the txv. :^(

Drove to my mom's house and when we left I could smell the ac damp coil smell when I first called for cooling, yeah!

A good week

Got the car it's plates, insurance, and I got a new license.
ABS is the last detail to take care of. Then it's a weekend cruzer.
It's nice! Too nice to sell, lol. {: ^ )

Cleaned up a 2005, S Type, Jaguar/R.
Supercharged V8.
The Honda seen is fun but a V8 is still the Boss.

Ultimate sleeper. 0-100 in 2 breaths! It winds the speedometer up like a tach!

SOLD! Didn't have it over the weekend and it was G- O- N- E

A good day! A very good day indeed.

The old warped hatch area floor!

It wasn't abused just 23 years old.

This is Birch and I though it a good idea to seal it so the climate won't dry it out.
It's not bouncy any more. Sold and the carpet lays down better.
Replaced the jack with a nicer one I had in stock.

Ran the codes on the ABS last week and found left rear sensor needs to be replaced. Found a new one for crazy prices, so I ordered all four from eBay for 65.00 shipped.

Ben's DC5 that he just got 2 days ago and it came with pasti - crap on the rims. Black so it made the rims disappear.
He spent all afternoon getting the junk off.
And now the RSX looks so much cleaner!
Good call myman!!

Yeah it's as nice as the picture, traded a del sol for it! This young man should be learning how to sell cars at a stealership, he's good.

Nice puppy. I miss my Boarder Collie. Now I have a Boxer, Ridge-back mix puppy that has a mind of her own. Very hard to train.
Yeah hard headed breed sometimes, but a very loyal friend indeed! Still a pup .... remember when we where pups? ha ha.

Grab handle repaired by passengers side, and added a stiffner to the cargo cover. As the new cover was kinda sagging.

Speedysam11

Best eBay seller for used Honda parts Speedysam11 did me great! I bought a set of abs sensors and the one I needed was open, ha ha of course. So this was Tuesday I wrote back asking what we can do here. SS sent another set of 4! And they arrived today! Less than 2 days from CA. to VA.
Think he made any money? I don't . But for him a satisfied customer is more important. You better believe the next parts I need I'll be going to see SS first.
Just wanted to share a great experience and contact for them Good old Hondees
