Used Ultimate Turtle Wax, silicone. Good stuff, that and I just like waxing this car.

 

 

Just saved 140.00 on my Whirlpool washer.
There's a door switch that the lid engages the lock and spin cycle.
Utubed it took the switch apart removed the arm and pad. These are made to break and be replaced. The thin plastic breaks and the switch is 100.00 and the tech charges.
Bypass all that stuff and make the switch last. It still shuts the motor off when opening the lid just like our old ones did. It just won't lock :-$
More than 1 way to skin a cat!

 

Need to finish up the sound system. Got a set of rx62 renagades a 12 inch sub and the kicker amp. It'll take a day but it'll Rock when it's done.

 

eBay find it was a good price compared to others for sale.
It didn't have a a/c cord and CD player didn't play. Hence the super low price. I love Joe Average American now. Can fix dick! My bid was under 50 dollars!
These things are from 500.00 still in the box, down to 150.00 for parts!
Anyway cleaned the pickup on the CD player and plugged it in with a cord off eBay for 3.00, and it's great, loud to the point of being obnoxious. O ya all the cassette tapes I have I can play again. I haven't had a cassette player in 20 years, but I still have a gizillion tapes. And it records, has hook up for external devices even mp3.

About two months ago a Hummer was backing out of a parking spot and back over this Accord's front bumper. The driver got out because he thought he felt something....lol. yeah he squashed a Honda, lol (again)! But Burt is a pretty cool cat. Scottish and wanted to fix just what was squished but his neighbor came over and you can see where this story is going.....

Like the title.said. Burt is a little over his head on this. So I love doing this stuff.

Found the antenna power cable disconnected. It works but the plastic cable is stripped. 17.00 fix! I always thought you had to replace the whole thing, but I went to utube acdamy and it's an easy repair.

It was a real bear getting this one inspected. Just little things; drop too low and headlight ballasts are illegal in VA. Catch fire! with those taken care of here's the payoff!
