My 2016 MX-5 Club

Yesterday I replaced my 1999 GMC Jimmy that had 256000 mile on her with this beauty. It's a 2016 Mazda Miata Club it also has the BBS wheels and Brembo brakes.

Nice! Was R&T's latest article convincing enough that you too could live with a Miata in the snow?

MNfit 03-21-2017 09:59 AM

Lol yea kind of actually. I was a little unsure about winter driving but some friends showed me that article. As you can see how low my Fit is, I drove it like that in the winter with snow tires with little issues. I futures shouldn't be much harder with the Miata

I think the Miata is a sharp looking car.

How is it for comfort?

It's actually pretty compy, more so then my Fit that has such stiff suspension

I have been loving the car so far. It's great to be back into a car I actually love to drive and look forward to drive every day. I have to say it's also so unreal the attention this car gets. The only time I ever got looks in the Fit or complements was at car meets. I have had other Miata drivers wave, random people at lights will tell me they like my car or ask me about it, got a thumbs up by a dude in a STI, had a nice chat with a random dude in a parking lot about my Miata and his BRZ.

Like I said I wasn't going to mod the car but that was a bold face lie. Car is lowered right now on Progess Tech springs. Dropped the car about 1 inch all around. 3 days after getting my license plates I was stopped for no front plate :( (cop was cool though and dint give me a ticket). So I had to pick up the license plate relocation kit and just last week I tinted my DRLs yellow.

Glad to hear you're enjoying the car! I have a modified 2010 MX-5 and these cars beg to be modified, even if just a little. I get a lot of compliments as well and have chatted with some great people about the car. There is nothing like driving a true sports car every day.

i really like how the new miata comes all decked out with the cool front splitter and side diffusers. all it really needs are lowering and wider wheels and tires and done!

Can't agree much re, I love the way the Miata looks right out f the box and with the Brembo brakes/ BBS wheels the car is 99% there for me. I have lowered mine an inch on springs but if I'm honest I'm already kind of wishing I went with coiovers and a little lower. (I guess I will never learn). I want a diffuser, duckbill spoiler and then some 8 or 9 inch wheels and the car will be perfect visually for me.

sounds exciting! GL with the rest of the mods. :D

Got the winter tires mounted into the car, I'm ready for the snow. It's funny people keep asking when I'm storing the Miata <br/>or what will I be driving in the winter. When I tell them the Miata they look at me like I have two heads.
