So kudos to you, I hope to break the 15s in my GD with, weapon r race header, open header, weight reduction, CAI, vx wheels running 175/60r13 tires.

Unfortunately the headers are out of stock until Feb at the earliest...so i ordered a tanabe medallion touring for a subtle exhaust note on the daily commute.

Good luck! I have been reading up on your ride for a while now. I really like that car. I hope you get the times you are looking for.

Grrrrr

Still to darn quiet here. Please share any new info on how you have been running at the dragstrip. Don't be embarrassed! Any information is good information for the community so we can share and take notes. I've been busy since the end of last year and a little this year. Hoping to gather some info from fellow racers and apply knowledge across the board on all models. Looking forward to any information, especially before and after making any changes, to any year Fit.

There's more testing to be done.

I hope to make it to the 1/4 mile sometime this summer. I have been preparing for it, got my function & form type II coilovers installed, switched my stock seat out for a race seat (see link in sig). Need to update my weights list as the lighter seat will bring me to about 470 lbs reduction. Whenever the weapon r race header gets in (back ordered since the beginning of the year) I'll be all set to hit the track.

I see you are up to 15.2 now, that's great! Good driving.

Ran earlier tonight at Cecil County Raceway. Was testing full J's racing exhaust with Myxal SRI-CAI Ram-Air Intake. Temp was between 66F-70F.

5/22/15 Cecil County Dragway
15.504@90.62mph
15.484@90.86mph
15.445@90.15mph
15.448@91.03mph
15.465@90.27mph
15.448@90.31mph

These have been the most consistent runs I have done in a while. 1/4 mile speed and mph all stayed about the same. I've stretched both the intake and exhaust as far as I can go at the moment. I'm done testing configurations of both. Looking for other power mods now.

Thanks Devmail! I hope things worked out for you this summer. It's getting cool again so I'm at it to see how things go. I have a few tricks up my sleeve. I'll be happy with a 15.1 to be honest. Only way to know is testing. Hoping it all comes together this week or at least this month.

Forgot to update this post. Last August I ran a 16.0 at 84 mph with a 2.3 60 ft all motor, and a 14.8 at 97.8 mph with a 2.4 60 ft on a 75 shot. Only ran once on the bottle as I have no way to retard timing yet with that high of a shot. This coming August I will be running again with a direct port 60 shot and about 150 lbs lighter. Hoping the stock clutch holds the nitrous as I didn't get a new clutch/flywheel combo like i planned. One of these evenings I hope to weigh the car with all the weight out to have a ball park number in mind.

Looking forward to it. I'm banking on if the outside temp is around the same, that your 1/4 mile time and trap speed will almost be the same. Using a general rule that 10hp = 100lbs. The 15 horsepower lost would be neutralized by the 150lbs in weight reduction. Keep the 75hp shot (Ktuner to retard timing) and you'd hit a 14.6@99-100mph. Or something like that.

Regardless! I love your progress.

yes that sounds about right. Also, the direct port tends to perform better than a single nozzle as the nitrous has less travel and therefore less time to go from a liquid to a gas which results in lower power. So that could be good if the clutch holds it and may perform better on the low to mid range for that reason.
