TCS will build you a Fit. Not a GD but a GE. Right now Kswaps for this platform are still in their early days. We're slowly getting support for Kswaps. I think there's just a few dozen probably in the States.

I am converting our Mugen Pro Gd3 to K series and will be selling the super charger setup. I am weird and like duplicates of things. Would like to buy one already done for my f around car while I rebuild the Mugen Pro

But that is a GE not a GD. I am fond of the GD.

I'm 100% certain Seamus can build you a K2X-swapped GD3 if you're serious about it.

I am not familiar with them. do you have a contact number? I can build myself, just was hoping I could buy one already built instead of building 2. I have so many projects going at once its overwhelming.

I did consider last night keeping the mugen pro supercharged and building another gd3 with kswap. who knows where this will go right now.

Seamus is Tailored Chassis Solutions, they race KSwapped Fit's and have started making Kswap components like shifter linkage, etc, for the Fit.

thank you for that. I will reach out to them. I thought they only did GE8. I have looked at their website and its really lacking in information on what they offer and pricing on products they make.

A bit late to this tread. If you haven't otherwise committed I can recommend TCS for build quality and performance of the final product. They built my GE8 Fit with a K24Z7. Seamus and company will build a Fit anyway you like. They will find the donor car if you do not have one. Of course all this will effect the final price. In general think upwards of $15k+ for a turn key build. I am happy to talk with you about the build they did for me. Also, check out this story in Road and Track. It will give you some insight into the guy you might give your money to.

not really understanding the logic here.
if you actually are capable of building it, AND have the funds to buy a prebuilt...not sure why u wouldnt just whoop it together in a couple of weekends.

maybe im missing something.

I'm not sure that I communicated clearly. TCS will build a K swapped GD3 Fit turnkey. Last fall when TCS was building my GE8, they were offering to build GD3 K Swaps as well. They will find a donor vehicle if you do not have one, buy a used K24 and build it to your specs. With or without suspension mods, engine mods, brake mods etc. From how I read your thread, that is what you are looking for. Sorry if I am misunderstanding what you are looking for.

simple. the cost to build two far out weighs building one and buying one already built. The last k fits that have sold have went for 6000-7500ish. I missed out on 2 so far. For me to find another decent fit is around 3000-4000. I cant do the swap and stay under 4500 all in unless i just find a wrecked civic si or go k24. Of the ones I have found for sale which i missed out on they all had tasteful mods ontop of the build.

That helps yes. I thought they only did GE8. I will contact them but the nice thing about buying one already done is that you are not paying for labor. Im assuming tcs would be 10-15k on a gd3. the last used ones went between 6-7500

Yes, I'm with you on price. My uncle who used to do restomods on classic muscle cars told me to always buy someone else's restomod instead of building your own, you'll save thousands. On the other hand you never know what short cuts the builder took, and often spend thousands fixing what the builder did wrong or the things that you just don't like about the way the build was done.

But I'm getting too old to mess with major car work. Hell, a brake job takes me 3 days and then I have to rest up for a week HA! Best of luck finding the right K swap Fit!
