This is sounds stupid but I broke my led left tail light. I was so excited and I cannot wait to install them. So decided to test the led tail light using the tester to see what it looks like and the LED light is gone one by one "Broke".

The right tail light is OK. I never test them coz I don't want to brake them.

what do u mean by gone? Like u burned out the led's inside? Did u hook it up to a power source that exceeded 12 volts that burned the led's? I'm interested but i wanna know exactly what happened.

 

I think I burned the LED. I have Car charger equipment and plug it to 12 volts using a standard power wire that I cut from the electric fan. "STUPID" I plug it and lights up for 3 seconds after 3 second the lights start burned one by one. I think I short the tail light. I don't know I was so upset! I wasted $180 tail light! I'm so stupid!

Anyone who is interested. You can use this as a practice to open or modified the tail light. I don't have time to play or modified the lights so its up to you if you want to use this as your practice DIY or modification.
