WTB 13P harness connector and 9 oins
WTB 13P harness connector and 9 oins
I need the harness side connector to the mirror control switch and the 9 pins inside it.
Ideally it would include +/- 3 inches of the harness wire.
I don't need the switch, just what connects to it for a 2007 Fit.
Also the harness side connector that plugs into the mirror connector in each side door, 3P connectors, would be useful.
Why this stuff ?: I am adding electric mirrors to my base model Fit. I have the mirrors and the switch, now I need to connect them. The wiring will not be a problem, but I still need to make the connections. I would like to use OEM stuff as much as possible.
Can anyone help me?
PS Local scrap yards do not want to cut a harness to give me what I need.
Cheers

Full harnesses from late model cars (anything not older than 19 yrs) are extremely expensive. That is due to four factors: 1 OEM harnesses are very expensive 6-700$, 2 the time to take one out of a wreck can be considerable, 3 the wreckers will not allow the client to touch a late model and 4 the model is recent so there are relatively few in the yards to start with. If I was working on a 1995 Civic all would be different. When I got the mirrors and the switch the wreckers refused to cut the harness and wanted to sell it to me complete. I managed to get some wires of same or similar colours from a wrecked 1996 Civic from a local yard that allowed me into the yard.
Thanks for your interest in my situation.

Good luck. Are you adding electric mirrors too? I'll let you know what happens. I have a hard time believing that Honda cannot supply what I need. I could get stuff like this from the local Ford dealer, why not Honda too? It seems reasonable that each dealer would have a kit of bits to fix small broken stuff like connectors or pins. Part of my problem may be that the regular parts guy, whom I have a good relation with, is on vacation.
