Do you have to cut or grind the front plastic piece off on the stock setup or are they connected by a system of clips, etc. ? Very interested

Nothing needs to be grinded. YOu bake the headlights and pry the plastic piece off carefully.

Do the shrouds fill in the reflector area completely or do you need to cut away at that part to get them to sit right? Now that I have a set of headlights to play with the idea of doing it myself is getting very tempting.

No cutting necessary. The shroud as you can see in the pic covers half of the projector so it doesn't touch the reflector at all. If you have an extra set of headlights this mod will definitely be worth doing. Once you go HID especially with projectors you never go back to halogen or those HID kits that glare the crap out of everything.

I don't see any issues. The only thing is your going to have to wire up the 2 wires for the hi beam, but thats it. PM me your phone # and I'll bring the kit along that day.
