DIY intake I made for my 2008 GD3 fit. Worked great, makes the normal intake noise when floored. Ended up throwing the stock box back in with a K&N filter for PA inspection. The intake has the hole for the air sensor and it snakes around right to the back of the headlight. Filter can be cleaned and heatshield can be unscrewed around the base. $30 shipped OBO.

 

interesting - any gains from the butt dyno? where did you get this idea?

 

There's some gain in the butt dyno, mostly in the mid and upper RPM's. Look in the engine mod section for the DIY intake. Just a bunch of pipes and a filter.
