Maybe this is a dumb question, so bear with me.. where was that located when it was installed?

 

No it isn't a dumb question. This came off my 350Z. I am just posting it out here for the heck of it. Perhaps someone wants to be creative and wanted to make good use of it. Figure perhaps somebody would play with it

Here is the inlet of the scoop the way it is.

Top is 1.5 inches bottom is little over 2.5 inches
