Instrument Panel mods

I just replaced the gauge cover, then i got to play with the instrument panel..

So i am thinking, is there anyway to fill the space here, without using the colored gray rings?

Ended up painting....

Used it without the gray colored rings but still ended up painting it and leaving as it was

Also will switch couple of more pieces to change the gray color of the steering wheel and AT cover

Didn't know that either...

I knew it comes in red... I'll actually be selling an OEM red one soon. It came with my new Honda steering wheel and it wont fit with my Navi buttons.

Looks good in black.

I'm going to try and sell it as a package with the OEM sport steering wheel, if I get an offer for only the steering wheel, you got the trim... wait that didn't sound right lol

Yeah, I bought it from rakuten and ff thru tenso, and I paid a lot less than the $500 japanparts is selling it for. Japan's on sale now...
Here's a previous install - https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...lled-pics.html
Pics were working until a few months/weeks ago

Here's some one on the CR-Z forums who found found a selection of colors/materials for the CR-Z wheel (might be the same manufacturer?)... Lecce Steering Wheel - Honda CRZ Forum: Honda CR-Z Hybrid Car Forums
That carbon fiber one in that thread looks similar (different mounting though) to the J's racing one for the GE8.

FitStir,
I just see your reply oo items9 thread at crz forum
anyway your new steering looks nice
regarding Lecce steering, too bad they don't make it for GE8.

oh by the way, will your new steering wheel fit a Honda Fit with paddle shifter steering (Automatic Transmission)?

cause my Fit is an automatic
Thanks

You never know... Item9 did some research and found the maker (Lecce) of the Honda Access red stitch wheel for the CR-Z, maybe they make the Honda Access Fit steering wheel..

According to Honda Access website, it fits the GD3, GE8, a few Civic models, probably also the Fit Shuttle, and maybe other Honda cars too.

If anyone can find it I'm sure you can.

I don't see why not... the steering wheel is exactly as our OEM GE8 steering wheel except it's thicker all around, has the "bulges" by the approx. 10 & 2 locations, and has red stitch... but then again I don't know how/where the paddles are... but then again, if it weren't compatible with the paddle it would've said it on the Honda Access website, no?
