New Wheels and Tires

I got a set of Yokohama Avids and MB wheels from Discount Tires Direct - cheaper overall than Tire Rack. I'm not sure of the model wheels, but they look pretty good. Three things I don't like about the wheels: the spokes curve outward a bit, the wheels came with locking lug nuts and a special socket, and there are eight holes for lug nuts! I've never seen that before.

Overall, they look good, but if I lose that special $11.00 socket, I 'm going to be in trouble. I like buying tires installed on wheels, but I can't do that every time.

As it turned out, I got 32,864 miles on the original tires. My son got 29,462 out of his, but I probably wore mine down farther (3/32").

OK I see them now

The other holes might be for a different bolt pattern, maybe 4x113 to be used on different vehicles.

That's a first for me in over twenty years of buying wheels. Next time, I'll call and ask.
