Weapon*R Intake Manifold!
I ran mine with the EGR unbolted from the block, the hole in the block plugged with a plate, and the EGR bolted with a bracket above the header behind the intake manifold (so you can't see it) open to the air. Works fine and no MIL and if you play with them awhile to find the right FIT the stock wires have enough length you don't even have to add more wire to the stock ones. If you want to try it just clear your MIL then plug the EGR back into the original wires and just let it hang loose behind the intake and see if it works for you.

Pretty much just bolt it up, no major fitment issue. however play only after you tune.
I think you can get the optional 50$ "fuel computer" from Weapon R which won't need a tune.
If you want to get your car tuned, the best option (at least from what I know) is the Greddy E-manage Ultimate. AJR has a tune map for my car (Manifold plus I/H/E) you could contact them about. They might also be able to hook you up with a harness for the system.
Other options would be the Apexi Neo.
You would have to call up your local tune shop to find out rates for install and tune.

"borrowed" from temple of Vtec Asia

EVEN BETTER

One more for the unbelievers....
Just an update, we are trying to get the software for the Greddy E-Manage right now so we can cancel out the CEL.
Hey Claymore, that stock manifold looks different then mine. Maybe I will snap some pics of mine later today and post them up here.

Ok, here are the comparo pics... first a few of the stock manifold inside:

Here are the pics of the stock EGR location and what is causing the CEL

Now, here is the Weapon R Intake pics with the new EGR routing:

This picture shows where the old one is blocked, it should be between these two runners.

Right now it is, because the original EGR is still blocked. As soon as I get my hands on that software we are going to try to override it.
I wonder how hard it would be to tap in a hole and screw a nipple for the EGR tube on that?

Any chance you could snap a few pics of this setup when you have some time. Would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks!
Quick question regarding this fix,
Ok, if I understand this correctly; I pull out the EGR (Red) and block the hole with a plate; then cap off the current EGR routing into the manifold (Green)... then where do I route the new blue EGR tube from the yellow port?? Block it or let it vent freely.

You have got me confused I think you are confused. First all the EGR is INTERNAL to the head there are no hoses or pipes for the EGR system it's ALL inside the engine. The hose you are talking about is the PCV hose (not 100% sure on the USDM version but 99.9%) and will work just fine where it's mounted.
The fix I did starts like you said take off the EGR, block the old hole then just let the EGR valve hang out in open air any where you want. I unclipped the stock wires and they were long enough to go over the valve cover and mounted the loose EGR on a bracket using the stock bolt into the header shield. Worked for me no MIL.
Just block the hole then with the EGR just stuck somewhere so it doesn't rub on the belt start it up and see if your MIL goes away before going to the trouble of making a bracket.

I am definitely a bit confused
There is a port between the lower two runnners that is totally blocked off; I think on the overseas version there is no port... don't quote me because I am not sure. The pic below shows where it used to exit through the stock manifold and then into the (now blue) pipe which hooks into the lower location (marked with yellow above). It is my understanding this port is part of the EGR recirculation system and because it is now is blocked off it is causing the CEL to come on.

I just installed my intake manifold yesterday
And I got a CEL as well so since you guys are smarter then me you can hash it out and let me know cause im dumb. Ok also this may be a stupid question but I bought the 50 dollar lil fuel computer and it has the toggle switch on it. Well there is no indication on what selection it should be on or what the function of the toggle switch is. Can you answer me that? What position should it be on and why is there 2 positions?
Thanks
