Let's see how many threads make the improvement
For the ammount of traffic this place gets....you WOULD think they would host this sit on a better box! Preferably one box by itself.
The lag here is just bad. And no, i don't only check it on one computer...i have 1 here at work, 2 at home and one and my inlaws all with different connections. And it blows on all 3 (connections that is)! |
Well. Hmm. Sucks for you, as I have had no problems with the site at all.
|
Pretty laggy for me as well. Currently taking about 5-10 seconds to load a page.
|
it seems to be working fine for me. right now at least.
|
it is hit and miss. more miss though...maybe i am one of few who understand what it is to be hosted on a packed box :( if we were on a stand alone, we would never really have these issues.

Yeah this stupid site sometimes, I was trying to post something last night and the browser spun forever until I had to close it down... I couldn't access the site for like 10 mins. I finally came back to a double post.. yah FitFreak
My home connection is Fibre, but my work connection isn't nearly as fast and it gets pretty excruciating waiting for FF to come up. Feels like the days of 56K with this site. |
yeah, i have Fios 5mb....
|
totally agreed. the lag here is AWFUL. new sever ftw. this is getting ridiculous. pages taking ten hours to load and then all it comes up to is everything but the actual responses in a thread. and hitting the 'submit reply' button and then waiting for it to show the thread again and display what i wrote is probably the next best thing to medevil torture.
|
its okay. when fitfreak is running slow, it takes me back to the days when i had 56k
