Any Owners Using BF Goodrich GForce Sports Tires?
Hey guys,
I am thinking about buying some BF Goodrich GF Sport tires and want to see what your comment is on these tires.
Most interested in tire comfort(noise and ride) and treadlife. Thanks.

Hey strawberries,
I got the Good Year Eagle GT's last year. They're the kissin cousins to the BFG Sports.
They will be quiet
They may last longer depending on driving habits
Stickier than the OEMs
A bit better in rain
BUT they weigh a lot check out the weights of OEM tires and the BFG Sports!
I didn't think about this till my MPG went down an average of 3mpg! So this year
I'm going the opposite direction and have lite rims and tires 22lbs per setup where
the OEM with the Eagle GT is 39lbs!
Just wanted to let think about that when gas hits 6.00 a gallon this year.

I used...
The Goodrich T/A's on one of my prior cars, and loved the tires, but they wore out faster than any other tires I ever had...

Tires on a diet!
WOW I'm impressed! and low rolling resistance too. The MPG w/these would be fantastic w/ lite weight rims.

Goodrich G-Force, weight of OEM rims?
@Strawberries, what did you end up buying, considering that you posted this time last year? I'm starting to shop now.
I'm very happy with the performance of my present Goodrich G-Force 195-55-15's, especially since I drive quite hard in a warm-hot city environment. There is no noise at all to my ears. Treadlife is low, as mentioned, although very few high-perf tires are rated more than 40K.
My biggest complaint is that they seem leaky. I have to add air all around every two-three weeks, but again, I'm very happy with performance in this situation. That is the overriding benefit, considering the low treadlife. I'm looking for high-perf, maybe not "highest" as these are advertised by Goodrich, with better treadlife.
@Big Mike, do you know where I can find the weight of OEM rims? I've searched, but no results. I didn't realize what difference a few pounds would make. I'd like to get lighter without busting my tire budget. That's intriguing MPG information, since I believe we'll see $5.00/gallon gas by mid-summer 2012, especially if the Middle East goes crazier.

Hi 6gTexan,
I ended buying Yokohama S Drive tires with Buddy Club P1 rims in gunmetal. The size of the tires is 195/55/15.
Treadlife on the Yokohama S Drives is pretty good. Had them on the fit for one season before switching to winter tires.
Ride is comfortable and quiet. This tire has many postive reviews online. Check out the reviews on tirerack.com
Let me know if you need more info. Thanks

I had the Kumhos and when they wore out at 35K I put a pair of G-Force sports on. They were probably my favorites so far. They rode pretty smooth and had decent wet/dry grip. I then got a set of Dunlops and now I have some Falken Ziex 512s.
The BFG's were great tires they lasted me a good 35K (I am a pretty aggressive back road driver and I did a few auto-x events with them)
