3rd gen. Japan-made Fit availability

I put 207k miles on my 2013 GE8 and so far 30k miles on my GK5. Mine were both auto and I prefer the GK5 so far.
2013 - Regularly self serviced, only did basic maintenance until the end. Had #2 spark plugs/coil burn up. Upon removing cowl, noticed my shock tower was split open (lowered, pot holes, rusty Nebraska) I loved the car but it was wore out. Very reliable. I also liked the passenger cup holder on the dash.
2019 - Owned less than a year, basic maintenance. Gearing and MPG are better. A benefit to me was swapping winter tires/wheels and not worrying about TPMS reset as they are calibrated by wheel speed. I want to say my air conditioner is slightly better in this one. Otherwise same car.
For the price, I feel like your 2016 would have a better resale but I don't think you can go wrong either way.

My 2018 was made in Mexico and has had no issues. It doesn't matter where the car was made as they still have to pass build inspections no matter where they are from. Quality is all the same.
