Any Downstate Illinois Fit'ers?
 

Hey there. Just curious as to if there are any Fit owners who reside in the downstate portion of Illinois (you know, the non-Chicago portion)? :)

I'm am considering buying one (depending on the financial situation) and would just like to meet some fellow owners and exchange upgrade ideas and just plain other Fit-related stuff.

Normal - middle of the state. Where Illinois State Uni, State Farm, Mitsubishi and a whole lot of corn is. :)

i dont think there is poeple down there i think im the closes to u. alot of people are in like woodfield and around there.

Kinda figured I might be the only one from the 'styx'. When I get mine (whenever that ends up being), I'll be making trips up north anyway. I do hit the Woodfield area (IKEA especially) on occasion.

Congrats (well, future congrats) on your purchase. I'm out of the market for now as I just can't justify a new car payment right now. Picked up a more reliable used vehicle to tide me over for a bit.

As a side note, what is it about seeing more and more of a car when you're thinking of buying one? I am now seeing Fits all over the place here. :) Ok, maybe only 4 or 5 but still, that's more than I saw before I went to look/test drive one.

I rarely see one around here. The nearest dealer is 50 miles away. But I suspect they will get a lot more popular soon. Sounds like it is an outstanding car.
