Where have all the FIT's gone?
 

Hey! I'm talking to you upper midwest FIT owners... If you have moved to the JDMChicago forums thats fine with me, but, whats not fine with me is abandoning your ties and obligations to this FIT community. :cool: IE: me lol

So incase anyone else stumbles upon this thread and are new to the forums (fitfreak) there are local FIT's out there, I promise... and if they're not actively posting up in here check out JDMChicago's forums they all might be over there.

In closing, :wavey: and we'll see you at the next FNL I guess. But I certainly would like to see some more midwest FF meets, lets get on it


August 15, it's a Sun, Buffalo Wild Wings in Northbrook lets say 12-12:30pm. It is easily accessible from 294 or 94, it's on the north side of Willow Rd west of Waukegan(43) and east of Patriot Blvd

Coming from 294 exit east on Willow Rd 6 stop lights later on the left hand side, same shopping plaza as Best Buy & REI

Coming from 94 exit Willow Rd west 6/7 stop lights later on the right hand side, either exit right into parking lot off Willow or turn right onto Waukegan then left into the shopping plaza

I've heard, but I've also seen different FIT's at the last FNL...
What about Mike, atleast i think that was his name, silver fit he was rocking those green wheels for a while. Or the admin from WI with the black FIT....
perhaps I'll just have to live with the fact that this forum is not thriving in MY local area, which I can deal with.... just sucks since I'm trying to go to meets and see what else people are doing with they're FIT's.

I'm here but don't come in here too much for some reason. I've seen Fit's in my area (Lockport and Tinley Park) but don't see them anywhere in here at all and they're modded too. The one I saw in Lockport was at a carwash and it was a GD and its black. The other ones I've seen here in Tinley, one GD orange with tints and rims and the other ones a GE that's black with rims.

BTW, while I'm here, I'm organizing a run to the Dragon (check the events section) Tail of the Dragon at Deals Gap and Cherohala Skyway, Graham Co, NC for the most complete info. I do have one guy here who's already gotten a cabin and is going with us. There are two other guys in Tenn who said there going too, so you guys are more than welcome to go with us. How does 318 turns in 11 miles sound? Smooth roads that are all banked too:vtec:

I just recently moved to chicagoland area. I've seen maybe one slightly modded fit. The other fits I've seen just look like they're owned by people who think buick portholes and white stickers of Pixies are cool.

Would like to meet up and see some other fit drivers sometime!

I'm around Edgewater/Rogers Park now mostly.

i sold my fit. i would still come to meets in my cr-z though.

Yeah, I was told that everyone left for JDMC... still lurk here though.

I have the black GE lowered with rims btw.
