Local alignment shops
 

Hi all, I live down in Utah county and I was wondering if anyone knows of a good reputable place that can do a 4 wheel alignment on my 2010 Fit Sport? From what I understand the rear is a bit of a challenge but if any corrections are needed there then shims are typically used for toe and chamber there. So really I am looking to see if anyone has had experience with anyone good in the area who I can go see who can handle that kind of job. Thanks in advance.

fully understand....no problem. I threw it out so you would potentially have 25+ reviews of great shops in your area instead of just hoping someone in your direct area would chime in here. Just make sure any mechanic/shop you pick uses the new laser guided alignment system. It supposedly is much more accurate. You also may want to be a bit more specific as to where you are wanting advice for. Like most western/mountain states, your county is very large and any recommendation may be a very long way away from your home.

I don't get this. If all you want is a stock alignment, then use Yelp.

If you want autocross or track day specs that's a different question.

If you're looking for an alignment shop that will align to anything other than factory specs then I understand your pain, but that's not what you asked. If that's what your looking for ask your local racers for shop recommendations. Keep in mind racers talk in fractional yet the alignment equipment is in degrees. My alignment shop will set it to anything I want but I need to provide the specs in their language. I can't just say 1/16" total toe out in front, 2 degrees negative camber and for the rear 1/4 total toe out. There some online calculators available to convert

I don't know what's hard to get, but none the less I'm sorry for being confusing I guess. To clarify, I want to take my car to a place that I can trust, and since I'm newer to the area and haven't found a good shop on my own yet, I would rather take the word of an enthusiast who has taken their vehicle someplace and would recommend the shop than the review on yelp from the soccer mom who liked that the shop had a kids movie playing in the waiting room.
