Seattle & Tacoma Washington members

How many current Seattle and Tacoma Washington area forum users do we have here? Just wondering after seeing a few of you floating around. I'm in the north Seattle area and own a white 2018 Sport as seen in my avatar picture.

Drop a comment with the generation of Fit you are currently building and or driving.

2015 LX manual, down around Puyallup. Haven't done a lot past lowering and an RV6 downpipe, kind of waiting on the K-swap/Civic turbo swap kits before I really tear into it. Thinking about trying to make an intake manifold for a Mercedes supercharger, but don't want to commit until I know there's a good replacement- because I know there's a decent chance of blowing it up.

How hard was the RV6 downpipe install? Cat or catless version? Does it throw the check engine light at all?

Getting the old parts out was more difficult than getting the RV6 unit in. Took a few hours, but nothing your average shadetree mechanic couldn't handle.

I got the catless version because I'm cheap. If I had it to do over again, I'd get the catted version- there was an annoying raspy sound right around 3500rpm, and it didn't go away until I put a magnaflow on. No check engine light, even without the cat.

Wish I knew someone with a dyno that didn't want to charge $150 or so for a single run, wanted to do before/after testing and find out if it added any meaningful power. Sure felt like it, but you know how that goes with the butt dyno.

So I'm guessing it's laying on your back for a couple hours with some long socket extensions is how it's done. lol

I'm debating the catless version also. I already have the straight pipe exhaust installed. They look like they flow super nice compared to the twin cat stock downpipe.

Thanks! Its Mini Cooper wheels, don't have the wheels anymore since I cracked them after 3 track events. Back to stock wheels, not going back to Mini wheels they're just too heavy.

So, I moved up to WA back in 2016, and for a while, I thought "Marysville," was just an euphemism for getting high.

Anybody interested to buy my RSR super down springs? GK5 letting it go for $100

Hairymonkey019 07-30-2020 04:34 PM

I just moved to Renton about 2 months ago. Been living in WA for almost a year now.
Anyone know where I can do my own bucket wash? I live in an apartment and I'm not trying to hit up one of them touchless washes
