this isnt my fit but this is a custom honda vavle cover off my old car...
1998 Honda Prelude Type SH

I did a few more for other people but have no pics.... This isn't an easy mod by any means. Takes about 5hours of prep....and uses a lot of sandpaper, a grinder, jb weld, and a good paint stripper.





I did about 15 color coats on everything.

I started with a adhesion promoter(sp?) then used a high temp black(about 3 coats) then whatever color you want(10-15 thin coats) then I used 4 coats of hi temp clear

dam all you guys with different color manifold have inspired me to change mine i think im going to do it this weekend i shall post post after

I'm going to do mine in a few weeks when i have the time to do it/think of an idea.whats the painting process to do it? paint then clear coat?

i finally got the chance this weekend to re do mine from silver to blue.

P.S i also painted my oil dipstick in black as you all can see to add to the JDM FLAVOR.
( i have no idea is the jdm fit dipstick is black but what i do know that all of their other cars in japan come with black dipsticks)

i call it smurf blue lol

I'm going to paint mine that color too! Same color car and everything. Now that I know how it looks, I'll get crackin' on it. What paint did you use?

it was a blue can i forgot the company and it came with metal flakes. to give it that oem paint look. i got it at discount auto parts so you can probaly find it any where
