All good automatic cause vibration at a complete stop in D. It means you have a good relatively tight, efficient torque converter. Only american built and german cars don't wanna pull at idle in "D". Germans have electronic clutch releases. Americans have sloppy inneficient torque converters.
For gas mileage. accelerate more gently. and stop getting caught in bumper to bumper traffic.
