Oh damn. Wonder what happened to them. I liked the wheels a lot, but I like a meaty tire look so they had to go since the tires had to be stretched on it to fit.

I wish I never got rid of my TE37s!

Ayeee man congrats. I've always slightly disliked the long USDM front nose, yours looks so much better!

Can anyone help me find the auto-folding mirrors on Buyee or Yahoo? My plan is to buy those but put these (link) covers on them

Thanks guys! Its not all good news though

Yeaterday, i bought a new battery, and in my haste i installed it in The parking lot with the non ratcheting 10mm the store lent me. Anyway, turns out it wasnt tight enough and the negative terminal popped off while driving. The radio restarted a couple times, drove like that for 5-10 minutes. Got home to find the terminal fully popped off.... Im surprised the car didnt stall. Anyway, i read this could potentially result in electrical damage due to fluctuating voltage from the alternator. No problems with the computers or any other electronics in the car however, since ive properly tightened the terminals. Does this mean im good then?

Also, now that im temporarily back to halogen headlights, i noticed that every 5-10 minutes on the hwy they would dim slightly for a split second, presumably with the rad fan coming on( although it was -15c outside). Is this normal? I dont remember, i havent had halogens for over 4 years.

Maybe im just overthinking, i just drove 13 hours running off 5 hours of sleep and pure caffeine and sugar lol

Dont forget you're running also off the sheer satisfaction of having your JDM front end too!

Anyhow, the dimming is typical. Mine do it all the time, pretty sure its when the fan kicks in.

Hope you dont have any electrical issues due to a loose terminal.

Put my hood bra back on since the car is finally clean.

After cleaning I noticed these on the spoiler...is this a sign of clear coat failure? Freaking milano red...why must you look so nice but be so delicate.

I tried to buff it out by hand using a microfiber cloth and some soap/water. No change.

Gonna be peeved if it is clearcoat failure as this car is a 2013...granted the first few years of its life the owner didnt wax or detail the car at all. Not to mention he lived in a high heat/desert/sand stormy area with a 50mile commute.

Knew you meant clear coat...just didnt realize they made touch up pens.

Also after researching this definitely looks like clear coat starting to separate from the paint. :/

Guess i better consider dipping the whole car soon to protect it. Or Would it be/look weird to dip just my roof and spoiler?

Also...despite the weather saying no rain for at least 10 days when i checked Friday before getting my car washed....its pouring right now.

mind u, people say that plastidip is harmless, however one of the components of plastidip is paint thinner. with your clear coat failing so it seems, this may not be a good idea. there is also a good chance that when u remove the dip u might rip off pieces of clear coat where it has already chipped.

Just touch it up. It protects the actual paint and itll still look better than peeling.

Hah you can never trust the forecast

Hmmm did not know that. Well fortunately it is just on the covers for the spoiler mlunting hardware. Guess theres that dime sized part on the spoiler. Anything i can do to prevent further degrading of the clear coat? I just had the car detailed in December. Clay bar and wax.

Scary story though, my car was parked right in front of my house...and i go outside to check something and theres some delinquent tryung to open my passenger door! I yell at him and he looks at me with this strung out/glazed over face and runs away. Luckily no harm to the fit...but this was at 430pm....in broad daylight! ><
