Tire Bubble/Bulge

Just noticed a little "bubble" or "bulge" on the rear right tire. My car is brand new with about 10k on it. I would hate to to replace brand new tires!!!

anyways took it to a tire place..and said maybe ask the dealer if the tire is under warranty?

could they do that? anyone had this experience???

Had a similar experience... link --->Tire needs replacing at 3K miles?

At 10k miles you will have more wear but it doesn't hurt to let them look at it.

Replace it if its got a bubble, you don't want a blow out.. You do not need to replace all 4. 175 tires should be cheap.

Go to the dealer. Have them check it first - they will tell you if it is under warranty or not. All new cars have warranty on the tires. You should have got paperwork with the car, specifically for the tires.

TK421 is an unknown quantity at this point
You have a broken belt in that tire. Usually it is the result of hitting something hard like a curb or pothole. The impact pinches the tire against the rim and breaks the belt. If you don't remember anything like that happening it the past week or so, check the rim below the bulge and see if you have any nicks or scratches. If not, it could be a manufacturing defect. In that case you should be covered under the tire warranty. If it is impact related, that would be considered a "road hazard" and would NOT be a covered repair, unless you bought the additional road hazard coverage.

You definitely need to get the tire replaced immediately. A part of the internal structure of the tire has failed.

Ask dealer but most likely youre going to have to replace it by yourself. JDMxGE8 had that as well due to a pothole from hell and had to replace it.
