I was reading some posts on ''what did you do to your fit today?" and how they were talking about how xenonmods.com may be a scam. Well, I did some research, and am sorry to say this guy is a complete scam. People have emailed with no response. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

Filed my complaint with the BBB already.. I suggest you do the same if you haven't heard from them either (I know a few others ordered from them too).

Edit: maybe a moderator can moves this to somewhere where everyone will see it, versus just GE owners.

sedanimal, I definitely there should be a stick thread for known scammers. I personally did not buy from them, but I do not want fellow Fit owners to waste their money.

I just received my bulbs from Rich Calnan 26 days after ordering it. But I guess the main thing is I got something for my payment. I also informed BBB that I received the product and don't want a refund. I still think people should know about how this business operates. Buyer beware!

I opened a dispute file with Pay Pal. He replied twice with, "I'll look into it," so it's better than nothing. I have until the 26th with PayPal to take it to the next step.

Update: He sent me a message through Paypal dispute giving me a USPS tracking number.

It could be anybody's parcel, am I correct? My name and address are not on it.

All the thing tells me is that a package was accepted in someplace, NY on the 1st of September.

He tells me in his message that he wants this cleared up and wanted me to close the case number by telling PayPal the dispute was resolved. I still have my doubts and will wait until the 26th. I ordered the damn thing August 21st.

Anyone who is being treated poorly by a vendor, it's best to just escalate your dispute to a claim. The vendor then knows you're serious. If you have to take the necessary steps to file a claim and are this worried about receiving the product or getting a refund it doesn't hurt to simply speed along the process and let paypal handle it.

The guy running this racket sounds like a real douche (I might even go as far as saying iKona esque). I would escalate the dispute to a claim immediately and let paypal investigate and handle it for you, that's what you pay their fees for anyway.

That's why I don't use Paypal. Just use my Visa, and if the seller is a scammer, just bounce the charge. Done it several time with various sellers, and my money is always refunded by the bank.

Wow, the bulbs showed up today.

Postage is dated September 8th. I ordered the bulbs back in August. The customs declaration label is dated September 6, 2009.

Anyhow, I got it, so it all worked out. The dates are really weird. Thanks all for your help in this matter.

When in August did you order them? If they came in August, that was very quick--assuming you ordered them on August 30ish.
