How to use the trip computer in the 09 fit?

Hi guys,

driving a 5speed, can you please explain how to monitor the gauge the interior display shows?

Push the knob in quicky until you get to the trip readout. Once there, push and hold the knob to clear it to 0. Then it's up to you how you want to use it. I reset it every time I fill up, which will also clear the avg mpg readout too. I leave it alone until the next fillup, so I can gauge how many miles I got between fill ups, and what my average mpg was for that tank of gas. But you can use it for navigating too. For instance, reset it to see how many miles a particular trip was, or do multiple resets while following mapquest directions, etc. But a quick push of the button will cycle through all your gauges; total miles, trip miles, avg mpg, and oil life. A good read of the manual is helpful too.
