lol, I never sodered any of my old systems. My soder jobs usually sucked and I always found it interfered with the quality of the sound.

I found sliding on some shrink tubing, then splicing the wires together with about an inch from each end; and then sliding back the tubing over top (just blast it with a butane torch for a second and it tightens up around it) works best. Looks very proffesional as well.

Any idea where you want to mount the amp? There is a huge space above the glove box. Not sure if it would fit there or not.
