people need to learn how to drive and make better judgment calls. But glad no one was hurt.

It's bad enough to have one car destroyed -- but two? Mann... I hate to be spiteful but Karma is going to catch up with that kid one way or another.

A Fit and a civ... I have a civ and my fit is on order... I would've crieeeeeed... at least you're in a position financially to still have a Fit though. That's a definite plus.

Just keep your head up. Sorry for your loss at the funeral too.

Sorry to hear about your two cars. I'll never forget several years ago some kids in a Camero were out driving drunk and they lost control of the car, hit a light pole and landed backwards against our neighbors front porch. We looked outside to see the beer cans being tossed out of the windows as the owner of the house they hit came out with a baseball bat so none of them would run off. The police came and there must have been 20 cans of beer around that banged up car - those kids were lucky they did not get killed.

back from work, so now I'm back posting

anyway, basically, the fit smashed the left side of the civic from the fender to the back quarter panel, then the right side struck the stairs to the second floor of the house (duplex), from there the tranny got f-cked up some how... and well... they were talking about cutting quarter panels, etc... f-ck that, total it... and well the lovely lady stated, we barely made it, its totalled...
