how does this work on the fit?

 

It replaces the rubber shift boot

 

how do you get it to stay on? the one from ajr has a metal ring to secure it.

 

you'll need to attach stamples to the longer pieces of leather that stick out

I just installed mine after having it stores for a few months (was deployed) and it looks good. I"ll try to get some pics in a couple days for ya. But it looks pretty good.
