I don't know man, this site seems like its full of people who aren't willing to pop for some quality parts, in my opinion if you can't afford something thats made specifically for your car then you shouldn't be spending the money in the first place.

for these universal type things like boots, knobs, etc. i think it's fine.
just need to do it correctly to make sure it not only compliments the
surrounding factory bits, it also augments the overall appearance and
function.

The boot I have is similar to the one in that thread. It doesn't look as good as I imagine.

Oh my god, every forum has one and you are it, what an asshole, lets guess, everything on your car is ready made and off the shelf, could that be because you are that usless you don't have the skills to do anything for yourself, you have obviously got to pay people to do things for you due to your lack of skills and imagination, how satisfying that must be....What a wally.

actually douchebag I'm a former Acura tech, and I like things to fall into place nicely, even though a part may be aftermarket it should still fit as though it came from teh factory. A cheap shiftboot made from pleather is not what I call a quality mod. Yes I'm nit picky, but you've got a car thats less than 2 years old and you are adding parts to it like a complete ricer

that also fits and flows well with the rest of the interior, it also doesn't look like it came out of the $.99 bin at a wal mart

I wouldn't if i was you, if you do, you will come across as a right asshole, just like the person who first said it.

YEAMANS 17, why don't you post a pic of the boot you have, it wouldn't be that Mugen one that's to short would it, you could also put up a tutorial on how to fit it to the car, thats if you fitted it yourself, which i highly doubt.

I'm still running the stock boot, I'm still working up a way to mount a boot that uses the factory mounts however, no extra screws required. Not like it matters, whats this your first car? First time you've ever bought any parts for a car? Still doesn't matter, trying to argue with someone over the internet is like the special olympics because its all retarded

The reason i did that myself BTW is because i'm left with no choice, the Fit/Jazz here in the U.K is normaly driven buy old aged pensioners so there is no market for these cars with regards to aftermarket parts, you are welcome to try and find me a boot in the U.K (YOU WON'T FIND ONE) this leaves me with only one option and that is to import one from the U.S but the U.K has such high import dutys it would be complete stupidity to even consider it as the overall price would end up Laughable.

I planned to order the Mugen shift boot for GD3 L15A. That would fit my '03 VTi-S Jazz, correct?
