Wrapped the headliner

Here's what it looks like naked:

Sound Deadening mat (RF Deadskin):

Some are going to hate it, others are going to love it. Me personally, I love it, and it fits the whole VIP theme. Next is a W-Blood body kit and then I'm done.

Quality work. How hard is it to take off the headliner? And did you notice any sound difference by deadening the roof?

how do you wrap the headliner like that? Looks sick. How much does the sound-deadening mat weigh up there?

Thinking about doing the visors. Need to get to a sewing machine though.

Not hard, just take off the pillars, visors, oh shit handles, and dome light. I let a body shop friend do it, so when a clip broke, there were plenty on hand. Sound deadening made a big difference.

Take it down and wrap it, using contact cement. There may be a DIY or something somewhere. Not sure how much the deadskin up there weighs, 5 lbs maybe? The whole car is covered with the stuff, probably 40 lbs worth.

I need to get around to doing this. Including fabric and contact cement and tools, how much do you think this mod cost you?

I love it when people redo their headliner. That is such a cool mod for the interior. I love it.

The quality of the wrap looks awesome. The pattern is even, I don't see any peaks or valley, wrinkles etc. Doesn't look like the spray soaked through (least for the pics). Good job on the work!

I'm not a fan of the fabric though. I think I just don't like it because I know it's not real LV. Now if you have LV wrap your car (i think they charge 25k?) that would be ridiculous.

Niiice...one of the best modded headliners I've seen. I dig the LV/VIP thing too (even if its not the LV). Pretty cool.
Wouldn't mind doing something like that on mine, but I'm scared to death of taking my car apart like that tho, lol.
