Don't feel bad, I bought the GE, not quite realizing that the car had changed that much until I saw it side by side with my friends GD.

I'll freely admit that I first thought the redesign looked "wierd" to my eye after seeing the first generation for two years before buying my GE. It has taken a long time for the GE's styling to grow on me, but it has to the point that I can say I like both styles for somewhat different reasons.
