But I wouldn't want to get caught by surprise in a car that is dangerous and nearly disfunctional in snow. I know the proper tires can make a HUGE difference in snow too.
Whoever said the fit is dangerous in the snow should learn how to drive in the snow. EVERY car is dangerous if you don't drive to the conditions. and as long as you have winter tires you'll do just fine.(i just took the stock all season tires and had them siped and they work quite well. saved myself a couple hundred bucks)

Very true, I find it helpful to answer questions, but in the end, I see many posts with pretty much the same answers. Many questions are about comfort, and most of those can only be answered from personal experience, which many here did. I'm highly doubtful it's heplful.

I'm honestly not going to trail off, but in the end, I would suggest a 09' fit, or if you can wait, the hybrid 10'. Less likely to hit someone at a cross walk because you didn't see the person at the corner because of the huge A-pillar on the 07-08 Fit. (it's what I fear the most in any city... and it happens often)
