So I just spoke with the guys at Kingmotorsports. Looks like the gas pedal will need to be drilled to be installed properly.

There is no cover for the gas pedal on the Fit. Also the gas pedal on the Fit is too short for the mugen pedal to be installed using the brackets.

Looks like I'm gonna use some double stick tape and do some drilling to screw on the mugen pedal.

Kinda disappointing that the mugen gas pedal won't install without screwing it onto the stock pedal.

Hope this helps everyone.

I got genuine A/T MUGEN pedals on eBay for $39.99. It is a very good deal.

Originally got the Zeta m/t pedals. They looked nice and felt grippy, but had a hard time heel-toeing w/o contorting my leg/foot...the accelerator pedal is pretty thin.

Just picked up the Mugen pedals from eBay ($46). At least, I think it's authentic. It came in the Mugen packaging & had the Japanese instructions. I re-used 2 of the holes I drilled for the Zeta pedals & re-drilled 2 more for the Mugens.

Clutch & brake pedals are larger & super grippy. The accelerator pedal extends a lot lower than my Zeta one--I can better rest my foot on the floor & press the gas...feels more comfortable. It is easier to heel-toe.

Just ordered mine off ebay for $27 shipped, and yes it says they are genuine in original packaging with japanese instructions. Hopefully I can get these on with little effort, can't wait to see how they feel!

FYI...I ordered mine off ebay too. Replicas, but they look and feel just fine. However, at an auto-x event, that sand-paper-like insert on the clutch pedal popped off. When I got home, I just put some permanant adhesive on the back of the insert and re-applied it--it was good as new.

No they are not. The fake ones have a similar packaging. look here are pictures of the faked ones:

I'm having the same problem regarding the cover. is it removable? is it a pin?

here are pictures I've made:

My insert was originally held in place w/ adhesive, no pins. The inserts are not supposed to come off, but I guess the combination of my shoes and my stomping on the clutch loosened the insert. I just re-cleaned the surface of the clutch pedal and back of the insert, applied permanant automotive adhesive/sealant to the back of the insert and re-applied it. I don't think it's going anywhere now.

I thought the pedals were supposed to be drilled and the mugen ones are riveted into the holes.

Yes. Seems to be pressed. Honda sells it in one part, too:

Question Mugen style pedals from China

Has anyone tried installing these Mugen style pedals that they sell on ebay for $26.99?

Brake Foot MT Pedals Fit DC2 EK9 DC5 EG6 DC5 EK4 S2000 NSX Mugen Style JDM | eBay

Just wondering how easy it is to install these for the clutch, brake, and gas pedals, and if any drilling is involved.
