Illusive, those are very nice! Perfect color. I want that color for my black Fit. What's the weight, and has it kinda slowed you down a bit?
sliverworm, I didn't know Falken made wheels. Looking good! Same questions for you too.

elementary question, but humor me - what is the relationship of rim size to MPG and speed? Also - doesn't bigger rims make your speedometer and odometer inaccurate? Seems the size of the wheels would have to be taken into consideration when calculating distance/speed ....ok, call me dumb...or maybe I didn't get enough sleep...but I don't get it
The speedo will not be messed up as long as you keep the same overall wheel size. So its like I still have the same size wheel/tire as a 15, but the high sized rim I get the smaller a sidewall I got. As for the MPG.. Since I have a larger rolling diameter now it means a decrease in MPG because its more energy to get the wheels moving also they are heavier I think than stock.
Silver - i'm still confused. You say you have the same overall wheel size, but a bigger rolling diameter?
Also - if the overall wheel size stays the same, what causes the rubbing issues people w/ 17inch rims report?

try this..

type in the stock wheel size then size for 17s 205-40-17

ok 1/10 of an inch bigger and 0.1% change in speedometer reading. Is that enough of a change to cause MPG problems yet small enough to not be important for odometer/speedometer?
And then is 1/10 of an inch size difference causes rubbing? or are other people using the wrong tires on their 17 inch rims that causes the problem.
