Ok soo I think Im gonna go custom on my exhaust. But I was wondering if any1 had any suggestions as what size piping I should do from the cat back. Of should I just cut out a resonator off the stock mid pipe. Or another option is leaving the stock b pipe alone and having the exhaust shop weld another flange to my new muffler soo I can put it back to stock if i wanted (doubt I will change back to stock but who knows).

Will the new exhaust be one piece from the cat on back?
And if you're staying NA, choose 2.25". For TC/SC applications, go 2.75"+

Im buying a universal Apexi N1 muffler soo if I did do a cat back the pipe would be one piece all the way to the muffler. then welded. Only thing with that tho is I was looking thru the exhaust thread and I was reading some people saying they lost back power with a mid pipe.

its back pressure that helps build torque since the displacement is so lov on our engines. i would use 2.25 tube for na fit. torque stays nice plus the exhaust is opened a little more to breath freer

I dunno about a resonator, but I just put my 50mm on today and it sounds great. Not loud enough to wake neighbors at night, but loud enough to make me happy and want to turn the music off I'll take a vid of how it sounds tomorrow.

seriously the best allarounder if it's dailydriven is 2.25" piping, and I got the skunk2 for $290 shipped brand new from some dude on here. I think they go for at least $400 on their website, but I still think it's worth that. Because it's a 3 piece, full exhaust, not just an axleback which costs you somewhere in the 300s...If I was baller I'd go Spoon N1 and Spoon Bpipe, but in all reality here, the Skunk2 is the value purchase and the best way to go if you're not planning to race or track your Fit. 1 to 3mpg gain due to less restricted airflow, and a couple hp and ft/lbs tacked on for good measure :P oh and a great tone from complete stop, through the gears to the speed limit and then it's a low drone at cruise. You can still hold a conversation at normal volume.

k here you go dude, see if you like the sound. It's not loud unless you take it over 3k and also it comes with a silencer that I plan on never using lol
thanks man Glad I could help on your quest for an exhaust. Though custom-fabbing sounds awesome, would it come out cheaper than going with a namebrand?

I put on Street Series 1418 Magnaflow axle back muffler and it seems to work well with the SSI. It has a nice deep tone. A little louder than I thought it would be but there doesn't seem to be low end torque loss. I am pleased with the combination. Since it is only axleback I can't expect too much.
Thanks for the clip and yeah cus my friend has a hook up and he got a custom 2.5 inch mandrel bent cant back exhaust for 150. soo thats what it would be around for pricing.
Oh and +1 rep for your sound clip!

it's 1 piece? from the muffler to the cat? I never seen an exhaust like that, but it sounds neat! For $150 I'd go for it, if I was sure it would fit on the car. Who designed and testfitted it? Your friend?
